Supper and Spice
Back in August when the sun was actually shining, we held our Supper & Spice evening in the library. Organised by our fantastic Courtnee, we welcomed members of the community to discuss all things food, family and finding a home here in Pompey. We were lucky enough to have some amazing local eateries provide food for us – have a look at the pictures and tell me you’re not suddenly famished!
As well as the grub, we had Leo Burtin (food academic), Shamila Dhana (of Portsmouth City of Sanctuary) and Natty (Natty’s Jerk) share their experiences and how much food can mean to people’s identities – food for mind, body and soul!
