Hi! It’s Courtnee taking over the blog for this month and we are kicking off Sticky Floors & Palm Tree production! It’s been very busy with marketing and social media for the show so excuse the lack of snaps!
An Urn-gent Quest
We started the month taking an urn on a 6 hour journey across the country! We were delighted to represent Downtown in Bradford and continue our collaborative working relationship with arts companies outside the city.
Poster Launch
We officially launched ticket sales for Sticky Floors & Palm Trees! We also got to show off our gorgeous new posters designed by Craig Maxwell. We’ve been wheeling Trace out to flyer at all the Christmas light events and pounding the pavement giving them out. Ticket sales have been going really well (we’ve even sold out one night ah!) and the black friday sales brought some lovely bargains. It’s been so exciting chatting about the show and all things Sticky Floors.
Speaking of Sticky Floors and Palm Trees we had our first rehearsal! It was so wonderful to be in the space with the whole creative team, cast and crew. We invited some of our participants from the interviews to come along too and spent time listening to the show. We did some interviews with the Portsmouth News too and consumed loads of chips. It’s really exciting to see it all starting to take shape and I can’t wait for you all to see it!
