Opal Nights

Opal Nights: a queer storytelling soiree with neon signs, comfy sofas, a mic and a supportive community of fellow iridescent individuals.

Our ‘Nights’ projects are a series of storytelling opportunities working with participants to tell their stories some for the first time understanding that everyone has the opportunity to take the mic.

Through workshop, dinners and 1-1 sessions with facilitators, directors & access workers storytellers are guided and held through a process where the performance is just the icing on the cake.

We always reference gems or stones in our ‘Nights’ series, such as Onyx or Opal as the process of mining for stories is unique, with layers of depth and usually require a lot of leg work!

It’s about main-staging voices that you might not usually hear.

You can listen to our first Opal Nights series (and other storytelling projects) on Spotify & Apple music.
