Opal Nights

Opal Nights: a queer storytelling soiree with neon signs, comfy sofas, a mic and a supportive community of fellow iridescent individuals.

Our ‘Nights’ projects are a series of storytelling opportunities working with participants to tell their stories some for the first time understanding that everyone has the opportunity to take the mic.

Through workshop, dinners and 1-1 sessions with facilitators, directors & access workers storytellers are guided and held through a process where the performance is just the icing on the cake.

We always reference gems or stones in our โ€˜Nights’ series, such as Onyx or Opal as the process of mining for stories is unique, with layers of depth and usually require a lot of leg work!

It’s about main-staging voices that you might not usually hear.

You can listen to our first Opal Nights series (and other storytelling projects) on Spotify & Apple music.
