Community is the core of our work, from supporting participants and volunteers through our queer lens. Our community work acts as a bridging tool to create conversations, develop skills and understand needs.
We also support early to mid performing based queer artists to explore new work, usually autobiographical, through workshop and scratch opportunities.
Community is about our connection to place & Portsmouth allowing entry routes to our work.
Heritage
Heritage allows us to turn the stones on what we see and think about heritage, through ‘Storming The Teacup: Diversifying Pompeys Heritage’ well use our community and theatre work to do this.
It is through this that we can explore other creative and accessible ways to tell stories bringing more communities into Downtown Pompey.
Theatre
Theatre is our main practice, it gives us an opportunity to create, produce and MainStage usually unheard of hidden voices through fun, dynamic, and experimental ways! Using Portsmouth as a backdrop it allows a rich vibrancy for collaboration.
